Lane Bishop is done with the dating scene. With a new job, in a new town, she’s ready to focus on herself for a while and leave behind the pressure and expectations of Singles Mingles or anything else designed to help her meet her soulmate. Maybe she just doesn’t need a soulmate, thank you very much.
But then Lane is dragged to the park to watch a bunch of guys play soccer. Watch? Ha. Lane has never been a sidelines kind of girl. She’d much rather play the game…especially when the opposing players look as good as the Hamilton brothers. She’s done with dating, but a little friendly competition can’t hurt.
Rather than feel intimidated by the new talent (and beauty) that has joined the opposing team, Jamie Hamilton is intrigued. Risking his “untouchable” dating status, he decides to pursue Lane–with a little help from his older brother, Simon. With Simon’s behind-the-scenes assistance, Jamie proves irresistible, even to a disillusioned dater like Lane.
But as Lane gets to know both brothers, she can’t help but wonder–beneath the grand gestures and romantic words, is she falling for the wrong guy?
